Subject: UVmapper-type application for the Mac?

Hey there, I'm a new Poser enthusist and was just curious if there was an UVmapper-type app for the Mac? I noticed there are quite a few more PC users here than Mac but I figured it doesn't hurt to ask. :) Hopefully very soon I can post some stuff to be critiqued. I'm a little overwhelmed by the possibilities and directions Poser can go and take so I'm trying to take my time. Thanks for the help!

There is a MAC version of UVmapper. Use the link on the sidebar to get to the site.

Thanks Jeff! I would have never guessed there was a Mac version... lol! I found Macconverter on my own and believe me if you're a Mac user and a Poser user download that baby ASAP!

Hi Folks! DerekG, there is definitely a Mac community among the Poser users who frequent this Forum, and many of us in fact create on more than one platform. Just wanted you to know you are not alone! Peter (Dr Zik)

Cool Peter! I've been DL'ing various Poser items for a couple of weeks now to see how various things are done and I noticed pretty much 1 per 15 were zipped. That's not a problem or anything it just made me assume there were more PC users than Mac. I'm really happy how easy it is to convert things from PC format to Mac Poser format. Hopefully it's just as easy to go from Mac to PC. Any PC users have any comments on that? Thanks again!

You can use my Maconverter utility to export any Macintosh Poser files to the full set of PC files - see the "expert" manual for details. The only further thing will be to get a .zip compressor, there are some shareware utilities for it, and StuffIt Deluxe 5.5 just started to offer it right now.

Cool, Martin! Thanks!
