I know someone posted this before but they talked about fish... I'm telling you that the real treasure there is the 3 butterflies and the locust... I'm posting this here so you can see just what a great quality butterfly is being given away....

A beautifully rendered image! Along with the butterfly, I really love your flower...I'd love to know where it came from? Great picture. Irene

Well, the came from the Botanical, a collection of 80 photo realistic flowers and plants which are really great... A lot of folks here have gotten the collection and everyone is very pleased with the quality... it goes for $75 but it's worth it... Just check out the link...

Trav, if you're interested in butterflies this site has five of 'em. They're all poseable, but I don't know if they're free. Link provided by dancineyes in the Poser forum.

Hey Jackson, thanks for the head's up, I actually have those guys in line for my next purchase, they are definitely a saleable item, not for free, but they are well done... and Mike, anytime... :)

Nice job showing off the model(s), Paul, and I especially like the added touch of the moss on the tree trunk, looks great! :) Velvet, I'd be willing to bet those rocks came straight from Vue 4, which contains a rock generator that lets you create all kinds of rocks, stones, gravel and such. :)

velvetdream2 ( ) posted Mon, 01 October 2001 at 1:20 PM

I have Vue and haven't had much luck in making rocks. Back to the drawing board I guess. :)

tradivoro ( ) posted Mon, 01 October 2001 at 8:36 PM

Yeap, it's that ole vue rock generator, that I've been going kind of crazy with of late.. :) If you saw my other picture, the pond has an outline made from Vue rocks...

tradivoro ( ) posted Mon, 01 October 2001 at 8:37 PM

Thanks Varian for the kind words... :)

Hey Velvet, 2 thing to do is, first double click on the rock and set the smoothing angle to a high number like 200... Taht will smoothen out the rock... then push and pull it this way and that till you get a rock that has personality... :) It's not difficult to coax personality out of a rock... :)
