Changed V4 for a US release, mine was 1st batch no:52 ; still can't do Poser stuff who needs it anyway , but this V4 install manages to run long enough to finish a pic. Hallowthingy isn't too far off so ... , house by SAMS3D , gremlins by DAZ

A spooky Halloween image! Lovely work. As I'm new to Vue, hope you don't mind if I ask, where you found the vegetation on the right? It is really pretty. Nice one! Irene

Well Hein, glad to see you back... I was wondering who was going to be the first to do a Halloween picture, but I guess you beat us all to it.. :)

Hey Hein, that's really cool, and I really like the lighting. The textures you put on the house are excellent.

Irish, the vegetation on the right is E-on's "long grass" , it can be found in the "extra-vegetation" area on their site. Mike, the textures for the house are : "sandstone" for the siding and "mossy rock" for the roof, both VUE regulars :). Except in close-up they usually work fine.

Wonderful use of the lighting, Hein. That tree is especially awesome!

Lighting does a lot, the reds in the grass are caused by a red pointlight (setp:740) behind the house. The tree is JesterCGI's Hanging Tree minus the noose, the bark is the "dry areas" part of V4 Grass.mat with the bumpgain turn up a few notches.

Great image, and thanks for the tips about the materials and lights you used. sig6.gif
