Please tell me the obnoxious "Ad Choices" scrolling popup adverts aren't here to stay? I've been seeing them all day.

Hmmm I've never seen those before. Let me get with the techs and see what is going on

I'm 99.9% certain this is something on your browser end because nobody else has mentioned this as a complaint and I haven't ever seen them and I know we wouldn't be putting those things there but as soon as I hear from the techs on how to help you figure out why this is happening for you I will let you know.

Odd. I haven't seen it again today yet... But I just logged in. I even tried closing Firefox to clear everything yesterday (it's set to clear cache and everything on close).

Yeah the tech said its definitely something in your browser, let me know if it continues and I'll ask him more about what you can check to resolve

Ok. Thanks. I think I'll do a couple of securty scans. Hopefully it was just a fluke of some kind.

Alrighty, let me know

tiggersprings ( ) posted Mon, 27 October 2014 at 9:30 AM

I haven't seen the ads again.  Security scans were clean.  I wonder if it was something that was a temporary "artifact" from one of the sites like 4shared or something...
