I think someone broke your code for showing past purchases in market place lists. An item I purchased on the 26th allowed me to add it to my cart (I was thinking I was crazy, because I was sure I had already bought it). When I clicked on that vender, it doesn't show any items as being purchased, even though they are one of the folk's whose stuff I consider buying as soon as they release. I saw a comment regarding "bundles", but this wasn't a bundle. It was just an item, along with several others, all of which appear unpurchased in the product page.

Yep, they have broken the whole flippin' system.

No money for 'Rosity until this is fixed.

Seems to me the fact nobody is even acknowledging it is happening is suspicious.

Late Friday afternoon, with Halloween - I wouldn't expect any acknowledgement until tomorrow.

Well, the first message I saw about it went up yesterday morning and the mods here are usually good at addressing problems quickly.

It has something to do with the grab bag sale. They have to allow multiple purchases of the grab bag, so that allows multiple purchases of ALL items. You have to keep checking your purchase history to make sure you don't duplicate a purchase. I love the grab bag but wish you could put everything in your cart at once, it makes them lose sales because the whole process is such a pain.

That makes sense. I just wonder why we weren't given a heads up or nobody 'official' has come in to explain.

Yes, the duplicate purchase warning is turned off during the Grab Bag Sale. If you look at the promotional page for that you will see at the bottom that this is disabled during this time, and instructions on how to check for those before purchase through your account. http://www.renderosity.com/halloween-grab-bag-cms-17385

*Also know that during this 48 hour period, the Renderosity System Flag to check if a buyer has previously purchased a product has been disabled. This is to allow for multiple purchases to receive multiple Grab Bag items. If you question whether or not you've purchased something in the past, please click 'My Account' and use the 'Search Purchases' field.

This is done each year during this promotion. If you have made a duplicate purchase, please send an email to store@renderosity.com with your order numbers of both purchases for a single product, and we will get that taken care of for you. :)

In teeny tiny print and only those who want to participate in the grab bag and click on that page will see it. I participated in a grab bag once and it wasn't worth it so didn't even try this time. This is no way to run an airline.

And NOBODY OFFICIAL has yet commented on this and worse they've doubled down and extended the grab bag for another 24 hours. It's like a slap in the face to their best customers.

Yesterday I searched for several items in my item list and several came up 'not found' that when I checked by vendor I had actually purchased. You have to hold your head right to trust the search---especially when you're doing several in a row.

We certainly didn't extend the Grab Bag as a slap in the face to anyone...response has been so good the past couple of days for it, and the customers were asking it be extended. :)

Am I not official enough for you? lol I am an Site Admin her for many years now and work here in the office. I will do my best to answer any of your concerns. For all  of the years I have been working here we have turned off the duplicate purchase notification for this event. I am sorry it is causing an issue for you. But if that is on, then a customer can only purchase the Grab Bag item once, and many want to purchase it multiple times.
