That's kinda rude getting a grab bag item for something that I don't have. I have no intention of purchasing the necessary item, either.

I have the same opinion as gypsyangel!  I'm extremely disappointed. Really, really bad Grab Bag days!!!
I've got twice mediocre textures for a dress I never intend to buy and never will!
What's more I chanced today again and AGAIN I've got anagord textures to "Faelyn Dress" that is UNAVAILABLE in the store and btw which I don't intend to buy either...
This year GRAB BAG is really a nasty trick or something even worth. And as a long time buyer here I do remember good "GRAB BAG" "years!

Hi. 

The Grab Bag FREE items that are given to each buyer are completely random. Some of our vendors only create add-ons as products and we did not want to exclude them from giving items to buyers in this promotion. Some have received them and truly enjoyed them.

I've had the same problem with getting 2 products for which the base product was unavailable. I know that the Grab Bag items are free but this is very disappointing. Even if I wanted to buy the products in question (which I was not planning to do actually) I could not...

Same issue here: I received an add-on for a product that I do not have or intend to purchase. I had planned to purchase a few more items to see if I would (finally) come up with something good as the first two were very old products that I also would have never purchased, but they are at least usable, but this stopped me in my tracks. Fool me once.....

Same here. Out of 10 grab bag items, 5 were addons for things I don't have and never would buy.  Of the remaining 5 there was 1 I might have purchased.

As stated above we have no control over what items are given to each buyer during the Grab Bag. I'm sorry you are not happy with what you received...but I have checked the items given away and it was very random and all different types of items were gifted.

A random grab bag is supposed to be just that, a random pool of items that you can receive ANY one of and that's part of the fun of it. I mean if I go into a retail store and they have their grab bags I don't even get a CLUE as to what could be in the bag (they don't allow you to see a list of possibles or give you ANY idea at all) but it's fun I LOVE LOVE LOVE the meaning by a random grab bag like playing the lottery. It's fun and sometimes I get something very interesting that I would've never thought about using but end up trying and sometimes I have to buy other things to fully use the item I received but I understand up front what the grab bag is all about so I decide if I want to chance it or not. It's up to you whether you choose to participate in the fun when we do this promotion but it will always be a random pool of items that the vendors are gracious enough to offer up for free and some of them will be add on's because some vendors ONLY do add on products but they like to participate in these events as well.
