Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Dec 11 2:52 am)
I'd be surprised if he hasn't - there is probably a matmatic script for one

I have used some BB plugins for EzMat2 for some fabrics.
I use Poser 13 on Windows 11 - For Scene set up I use a Geekcom A5 - Ryzen 9 5900HX, with 64 gig ram and 3 TB storage, mini PC with final rendering done on normal sized desktop using an AMD Ryzen Threadipper 1950X CPU, Corsair Hydro H100i CPU cooler, 3XS EVGA GTX 1080i SC with 11g Ram, 4 X 16gig Corsair DDR4 Ram and a Corsair RM 100 PSU . The desktop is in a remote location with rendering done via Queue Manager which gives me a clearer desktop and quieter computer room.
The loom is a python script that is associated with matmatic. BB took me very patiently through the installation and use of matmatic over at RDNA (look up "Poser > node cult" to find the thread. It is well worth the trouble and time to learn ... it also helps you to understand the workings behind EZmat. :) I hope this helps. I did do all of that ... just to be able to use the loom, by the way.

P.S. The other features of matmatic are ... amazing as well. You team matmatic with EZmat and you can do great things in the Material room.

Hello! Sorry I get no ebots. This forum has been ruined and nobody seems to care.
I did make and demo some unreleased plugins for the Loom and other things. I still don't know when I'll finish and release them.
Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)
@Boni I appreciate cycles ;-) love poser for err posing but still getting back into the rendering etc ~ ~ only got p14 last yr an its been a funny yr so only opened it a few times but if BB gave me a matmatic for blender ;-) poser could go in the box with my X wifes yeah the one with Pandora on the top and please DO NOT open near the bottom

I think a lot of people care; that's why they haven't been posting much... :(

The Wisdom of bagginsbill:
"Oh - the manual says that? I have never read the manual - this must be why."My hopes are that there's just some more tweaking going on. I like that images can be embedded in the post rather than an add-on later ... that's a plus. I've been getting my ebots, but if others haven't then that's not good. The layout is a little funky ... but it loads faster and smoother and that is also a plus. I just think this is such a hub for Poser users we need to work together to support the site.

@heddheld, I've been a fan of Poser since P4, and I have to say, PP2014 is the best Poser ever. Between the comic-book style and the IDL lighting, the mat-room help of matmatic and EZmat the potential for quality renders have improved 10 fold and let's not forget finally (in PP2012) getting truer SSS. Now it's mostly the skill of the individual user that is the measurement of a good image.

Does anyone know if Baggins Bill ever created a fabric shader? I've seen the post for stockings, paint, and leather, but I'm hoping that he has one for cloth hidden away somewhere.
