Hello again

I am a self taught user of 3d and Gfx/Video apps. My goal is to make a cool video of my favorite things.
Star Wars and Battlestar Galactica mainly. I have been learning for appx 4.5 years and am near 50 myself

Content
Unsteady Truce. On the Edge.Battlestar cg animation
Idea/Concept. ^^^

currently wip and estimated length of video will be 3:40.

WIP Notes:

Scenes have a dual like atmosphere/background
Ships position and preparing for what could be a major fleet engagement.
--though there seems to be some issues.--Ghostly Sheen effect. Have tried in vain

trying to figure how to correct or fix.( even bought Sony Movie Studio 13 Platinum)
was using Sony Vegas Pro 8>>> old Like myself .

I have began a remake of a video I made couple years ago.
Completely Re-Textured the TanJ Hyades Battlestar in this video.

( and am finding weird things occurring with the re mats- on the mesh. )

Went thru every poly-selection. Changed most mats and added channels and corrected
all the projections and attribute parameters.
Re-did the textures on the Raider, the TOS Raider also.

---Am trying to correct these when spotted.

I initially was going to let the title/intro be silent.
But, there were a couple of tracks still in the old Sony project file. So, I listened to them.
And it was like litn' man. Impact Title FTW
I made that Intro Title Audio with like 5-6 samples in just a few minutes and it was all
fittin like a glove the very first try.

Thank You for visiting my post.

Regards,

Randal R.

I thought it was an excellent animation. the flying was smooth, the scene cuts were smooth. If there were problems I didn't see them and quite honestly I didn't look for them. It looked like an excellent intro to what ever is next.

Hi

Very nice.

I'm 76, and like to mess around with animation in Poser, mostly my Lucy character telling stories.

I did some video of a spaceship orbiting a planet once.

Nothing on the scale of what you have accomplished, just one ship appearing in the distance and passing the camera with the planet rotating slowly behind it and stars in the background.

Your stuff looks good enough to be in the new Star Wars movie.

I loved the haze with the stars appearing through it.

Really well done!

Mike

If you shoot a mime, do you need a silencer?

I really really appreciate your words.

Strange that you mention the star wars...

This is  I made by request, for a stranger, free of charge. and they wish it not to be

made public.

I just finished it,I hope.it is the opening sequence for a fan film.

But, after the first comment I received on it at a forum for this stuff.I may not even release it at all.

Thank you for your reply.
