Try www.lipsinc.com They are demoing their Mimic software for Poser. At least I think they are. If not you may be able to register as a beta tester. Sound files of talking. There are loads of snippits on the web but trying to find what you want can be a long process. I find it easier to record them myself. Try a search on the web. Hope this helps... Colm.

A company called Media Graphics International sells CD's called 2000 Sound Effects, & 2000 Music Clip (wav & MIDI) of nice quality for only $5.00 each, available at Comp USA or Best Buy. For simple lip synching, import a wav into poser. Observing the noise levels on the wav file waveform in the Graph Window in Poser, open & close the mouth ie Mouth Open (or whatever mouth dial you prefer). Cartoons pay little attention to phonmes for articulating words. Timing is more important. Pack

Check out Lipsinc at www.lipsinc.com like Colm suggested. They are supposed to be making a beta version available for Poser on December 15th. Its free to registered persons. I had a sample file done by them a few weeks ago and it turned out great.

Hi Folks! It's been a coupla years since I've done lip-syncs, but pack's advice is generally on target. Timing is definitely more important than having accurate phenoms, unless you're aiming for an animation of Disney quality. Peter (Dr Zik)
