Subject: How do i export image from Photoshop to use on Vue infinite alpha plane

This is driving me mad.

I've done it before. I'm trying to use an image of figures in the background to cut down render times. i'm trying to save an image with transparency, using photoshop so i can open it in Vue. So far all the formats i use TIFF, PSD, GIF are all greyed out when i try to select them through alpha plane. How should i save the files via photoshop? Any quick suggestions much appreciated?

Gill. Thankyou for your response. Do you know how i save the file so that I preserve transparency? Thanks again.

Saving as .png will automatically preserve the transparency

Select the png that you saved for your Alpha plane.  Vue will automatically detect the transparency
