Subject: Looking for a wolf head hat or mantle

shante ( ) posted Tue, 03 March 2015 at 1:56 PM · edited Thu, 28 November 2024 at 2:12 PM

Greetings.

I need a wold head hat or mantle.

Years ago I saw an outfit set for either Mike 2 or Mike 3 that was sort of Graeco-Roman or Celtic era fantasy that included just such a wolf head mantle accessory.

I do not recall where i saw the outfit or who made it. It was an artist well know for that sort of historical creations who was creating a lot of free stuff for Poser Man 4 that was brilliant and transformative of that figure and went on to offering better works for sale. I do not recall if it was here or at DAZ. I went there hoping to find it and everyone I have spoken to so far  has suggested John Malis. I have is four or five RPG Series for the mil3 figures at Daz but the wolf head piece is not included. I looked at his other period outfits and though brilliant the same held true.

I can not for the life of me recall who it might have been who created this so I am hoping someone here can remember.

Any clues would be appreciated. And if anyone knows of such a hat/cowl set out there please let me know.

Thanks for reading.

It's included in the Norse Villager Expansion for the Viking Pack at DAZ

Thanks What's really sad is that I already own it. In fact I own the whole RPG Set for the Mil3 figures. I never installed and used ANY of the Mil3 figures and/or accessories except the skeletons and hair for them. As I said I have thousands of dollars invested on all this stuff and I will probably not use it all in this lifetime!   :(

Gonna re-download the purchased Mil3 figures and accessories soon and play with them. But, if I remember correctly the reason I never used them was because i hated the shoulder/underarm/collar configurations for them.Too ugly and needed too much post to make look more realistic!   :(    I think I'll just get the wolf head mantle and the cool accessories that go with those items and leave the Mil3 figures snuggled away for another lifetime!   ;)

:O

Seems the more I post the more stupid I seem to sound. I thought these items were for Mil3 figures.

Just as well.

John Malis RPG sets are Mil3 as are his Roman and expansion packs.  Some of the later Vicki packs have fits for V1/2 and V3.  The early Celtic and Viking packs are for Gen1/2.

Adh3d used to sell a viking warrior set for Apollo. The cape could probably be parented to a Mike2/3/4 instead of conformed. Adh3d might sell it privately now

Oh, Mortem Vetus has a 'Herne' outfit for Mike4 at runtimedna that has a wolf head hat ( I think it's a wolf head )

You can go to your account at DAZ and download your purchase again ... and do some adjustments for them to fit your preferred figure.  They keep a complete purchase history there for all customers. If you have problems adjusting for the figure you want to use them with, ask ... we'll help.
