Sir Terry Pratchett has died; he passed away in his bed, surrounded by his family and with his beloved cat curled up next to him.  A bright new star shines in the Discworld firmament tonight.

My self-build system - Vista 64 on a Kingston 240GB SSD, Asus P5Q Pro MB, Quad 6600 CPU, 8 Gb Geil Black Dragon Ram, CoolerMaster HAF932 full tower chassis, EVGA Geforce GTX 750Ti Superclocked 2 Gb, Coolermaster V8 CPU aircooler, Enermax 600W Modular PSU, 240Gb SSD, 2Tb HDD storage, 28" LCD monitor, and more red LEDs than a grown man really needs.....I built it in 2008 and can't afford a new one, yet.....!

My Software - Poser Pro 2012, Photoshop, Bryce 6 and Borderlands......"Catch a  r--i---d-----e-----!"

"Ook."  Well said, that primate. :)

A major embuggerance.  RIP, Sir Terry.  I have a feeling old Death and Sir Terry will have a lot to talk about.

Well expressed Sam:)

I trust he's not looking at path with well-meaning inscriptions.

so... about 26-27 years ago, a thin, awkward headbanger went to a book signing in Ealing, London. he was the only adult there, the rest being kids. but he met the author and got a book signed, The Light Fantastic.

he then forgot about it and what was written in it..

26-27 years later, he retrieved the book - it had been stored in his parents attic, given to his sister - and he opened the book and read what was written.

....... "To Chris, all the best, Terry Pratchett" ......

today was the day he, the headbanger, aka I, cried.

I'll miss you Sir.
