OMFG, thankyou Clarkie!!!
I love it when people make presents for me!!!
But hurry up with it, I want it now!!!

Yeah, he is building duct tape for you Roxie LOL.
He's just uncertain as to what glue to use on his tatanium tape. LOL.
Or a chain, to keep you in Poser LOL.
Or an automatic vertex randomiser when you try to escape. LOL.
That must be it; An anti-escape automatic vertex randomiser.. LOL.
Sorry Earl.

We make a comedy we series for Mondo Media fully animated with Poser. Renderosity has been a huge influence and asset for the show. We'd love to thank all the talented artists working on here! Enjoy!
Okay, I renamed the file so it won't give anything away. But this is a sneak peak at a piece of the outfit. An Arm bracelet. It is supposed to be gold colored and has lots of scales and stuff. I think I can create a bump map for it to do the scales and I'll have to see if Bagginbill has a metalic gold shader I can use. Most of this is modeled, but I actually broke out Blender's scupting brush to try to get the head shaped right.
This isn't the coolest part about the outfit though. I'm keeping that under wraps.
OMFG, it looks like Mr Devil Snake in a Hoodie!!!
I want to see the rest, hurry up!!!
Thank you Clarkie!!!
Yeah, and Vilters, listen, nothing can lock me inside Poser, I go where I want!!!
And at least Clarkie is making a surprise present for me, so you shoud make a surprise present for me as well!!!

As of late I've been working on finishing up incomplete projects, one of which is a series of updates to my freebie Anime Girl Kristin Figure. The improvements are mainly texture based. I've re-worked and added some detail to the skin textures for her head and body, created decent bump maps to improve general texture detail, redone the eye textures and added a few new colours to the base set, and added a new transmap for the eyelashes and eyebrows...
I still have some finishing work to do but thought I'd share some images of the preliminary work...
I've had some requests for a power wheelchair (nags actually) so I finally got down to making it. I thought I might get away with throwing together some of the many bits and pieces I had made in the past, but I got carried away and it'll end up being a new build from the ground up. It's about 60% finished here, but good enough for a test render. On the real thing just about every bit of it moves or elevates or pivots or swivels or reclines or folds in some cunning way, so I'll be rigging much of it accordingly.
Thanks for the comments guys. Here's an update, I remade some parts, added more detail and got it crudely rigged to test it, and presto! it actually works just like it's supposed to. The model is under 19 000 polys at the moment, that's about what's in Vicky's hands and feet, so I'm happy with that, considering how much detail is in this thing. It'll have some different options for things like wheels, armrests and controls, I haven't figured out whether to handle that with geometry swapping or just smart props on a basic figure.
What's up with this forum software? The last image I uploaded was about 400k, but it's over 900k on this forum? Lets see if the same thing happens to this one.
Obm890, are those renders out of modo?
Yes, primorge, modo renders at the moment. There's still a lot of back-and-forth from modelling to rendering, so I've kept it all in modo, vicky just pops in for test fittings. To get the same look in Poser I'll first have to do a bit of bevelling (modo is doing procedural edge rounding at render time on a per-material basis). That's one reason why I've been working so hard to keep the poly count down, bevelling a low-poly model doesn't inflate the count too badly, whereas bevels in an already dense mesh really causes the count to balloon. And I just like tight models.
@obm890
Love the attention to detail, looks very 'pro-grade' modelling does that, very nice!
@Clarkie
Roxie is currently on another one of her Vickie-Culling journeys so she won't have seen it yet, but I'm expecting her back tomorrow. She'll love that big-time, and I have to say, I think you just saved me doing a blade for my GWB morph!
Looks great, I'm curious what you're still hiding though :-D
Yeah, listen Clarkie, now you're getting the right ideas!!!
Plus, I get a new blade out of it as well, and a badass Roxie can never have too many blades!!!
If you want to make me a temple as well, that would be great, thankyou Clarkie!!!
But make sure you rig it out with lots of torture toys as well!!!
I like to use them on Vickies!!!
It's very entertaining!!!

Dynamic, I hope, Clarke? You got my attention now.
Doric.
I pretty much only do dynamic dresses, Doric, but if I can, shoes, shirts and socks will probably be conformers. That okay?
Shirt, shoes, socks, no problem. Dresses and skirts though, I only use dynamic. Far less hassle and always a better result.Doric.
The "I" in Doric is Silent.
Like that sofa, Teyon.
Hey clarkie, what's your method for modeling pleats? If you don't feel like answering s'okay... just that I noticed and it's somewhere on my 'to learn' list. Just off the top of my head I would lathe something out, cull some polys, and reshape the one sided geometry but that's just a quick guess. hmmm, maybe an array with bridging? Anyway...
Edit_ extrusions with tweaking?

Actually I haven't quite got it down yet. The pleats themselves rather easy. In conforming clothes how you model them is irrelevant. They're not going to change. In dynamic cloth though, you have the problem of them unfolding.

I wasn't satisfied with the Roxie warrior outfit some a making some minor changes. Still have to rig the Outfit for Kate and have to go back and UV the Snow Queen for Dawn outfit before i can pack that up and kick it out the door.
Latest Outfit is for Dusk. I took the Man's shirt for Miki 4 that I made a few years back and converted it for Dawn. Several people wanted it converted for Dusk. I don't get it, it's just an oversized shirt for women who like to sleep in men's clothes, but someone wants it for Dusk. Anyway, I decided to go a step further and make Dusk a whole outfit. Including shoes.
I may go ahead and refit this to Rex later as I haven't made anything for him in awhile.

Poser IDL test render: "Goin' my way?"
I don't have tack/harnesses for the horses yet; I'll need to figure out how to account for the yoke pivot point. Also, the two-sided glass of the windows slows rendering down, so I probably should make an alternative version without glass.

Here's a dress I started making. It's been a while since I've done any clothing. I need to work on the uv map and make some textures for it.

Here's my first texture. I might put trim on the sleeves. I haven't decided.

And here is a green texture
I have a blue texture I'll post once I get a render for it.

Ok finally got the blue done. I'm thinking I might make some solid colors too. Just need to decide how many.

Excellent dress, RedPhantom; I'm envisioning a white & mithril texture for Galadriel.
Teyon, I'd duplicate the screen (maybe decimated, if it's high poly), and space it out in front somewhat, parent it to the TV; it would be not visible in camera, and not cast shadows. Give it an ambient of 7 to 15, and render with IDL engaged. It will cast light like a real TV screen. :D
I made a third revision of the pixie dress for Roxie, this one sims quicker. 3044 polys for dress, 1548 polys for panty, each slipper 1583 polys. Because the elastic waist/leg bands are welded to the panty, it could be used as a loose item in a scene with clothes tossed on the floor. Here is RedPhantom's Dae morph applied to Roxie 1.1:

Working on something that has to remain hush hush for now, but I can give a hint. It's going to make Pumeco's Roxie very happy. And maybe her life a little easier. Will post a render as soon as I finish modeling.
