Thank you very much for your words for Lars, here, Mark. I also don't belong to this forum, but I want to let in this place, my deepest condolences for all his friends and also to express here-his place-my great respect and admiration for him, as an artist and as a person. I am grateful to have known his work and his thoughts. His courage and his will with which he faced the ordeal that he went through lately, always sharing beauty and love, will be always an example to me that i will not forget. To Lars in peace now, wherever he is, my deepest thoughts of Love & Light.
Ana
I'm very sorry for your loss, Mark. And my heart goes out to all of his Renderosity friends and fellow artists. My sincere condolences to his family.

A tragedy to be sure. It's always sad when we lose someone in this community.

And in my final hours - I would cling rather to the tattooed hand of kindness - than the unblemished hand of hate...
Thanks so much, Ricky. I sent you a sitemail, and I wish you all the best with a difficult task...I'm very grateful that you do this here. You do us all a great service. I hope I can be of some help.
Thank you, Chris. As moderator, I know you get to see the hearts and souls of many caring artists. Thank you for your thoughts, and yes, it's a tragedy, esp when someone passes so young. (He was 53 years and 8 months.)
And Ana, you know how much I appreciate your caring and kindness to Lars, as I know he appreciated it deeply. And yes, he was amazingly courageous, and he set an example for us all. Thank you for your loving comment to our mutual friend.
Thanks everyone...I hope Lars is shining somewhere from the love he inspired in others, take care, Mark
That is sad to hear. Always sad to hear, but especially when someone passes too young. I wish you strength and comfort in this time of loss.

Everyone...
I'm not in Vue, but a wonderful and dear Vue artist---Lars (LBJ2) passed last week, and I wanted you all to know.
Lars (http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/browse.php?user_id=537004) was a dear friend to many here, and he suffered from cancer the last few years; and his courage and immense positive energy was just stunning. He gave so much love to everyone he knew here---while he was so sick---and posted some of the most honest images and words about his struggle that I've ever seen. To his friends, he was one of those spirits who seemed to keep this place up and alive. He was a jewel.
I and some others will post dedis for him, and you're welcome to come by and pay your respects...or you can do so here...or you can do so privately. But as he was a wonderful Vue artist, I wanted you all to know. (I'm in 2D and Photography, so you won't recognize my name, but that's fine: This is for Lars, who was one of the dearest people I knew here).
Thanks everyone. And I wish you all an inspired and blessed May...
