as of last night , I am not getting any ebots for gallery activity

also I have posted at least 3 forum posts recently that did not show to be there. I am surprised this one worked

I just posted one about the ebots - it didn't show up, either. I think they're getting through, just not showing up for a while.

OK - my last 2 posts did show up.... :-)

The ebots should be working fine now. Please let me know if you keep having issues! :)

Ebots are still pretty spotty. I'm getting some, but not all.. For instance, I never got the payment verification notification on my last purchase, but I did get the order confirmation. I'm missing a few gallery ebots as well. Nothing at all in the last hour or so. Hope your techs can get it sorted soon.

No ebots at all for the last several hours.

Since last night I have had exactly TWO ebots...

I changed my email address when this happened before - about 2 weeks ago. It worked for almost 2 weeks, and now it's back to not working again. I know you and Tina are working to try and keep us all happy, but it seems like your tech folks can't or won't get a handle on these incessant issues. Is there any light at the end of the tunnel?

I've had a few trickle in, but only about 10 - 15 %.

Is anything being done to alleviate this problem? It's not just me... It's a whole lot of folks.

I have a hypothesis about this, but in the interests of scientific impartiality I'm not saying what it is just yet. :)

That clinches it. I had an ebot for RodS's reply on 4th June, but the remainder were un-notified as my hypothesis had predicted. I've seen the same behaviour in other forum threads.

I raised the problem here: What's really wrong with forum ebots but that was more than ten working days ago, so I'm not holding out much hope.

Sorry to interrupt - I realise you're discussing gallery ebots. I don't know if the two mechanisms are linked in some way.

My impatient finger-drumming was directed elsewhere. :-) When something software-related takes this long to fix, it's either a sign that the thing is hard to do, or that the folks whose job it is to do the thing have other, more pressing matters to attend to. Neither possibility is very encouraging.
