SERIOUSLY !! AGAIN !! EVERY Product I use these days, Phone, Smart watch, Tablet, Computer, Website...Doesnt matter, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM " IMPROVES" or "UPDATES" ..... Its CRAP....Every single time !!! I would pay MONEY... EVERY SINGLE TIME To have a "Go back to previous version" Button.

Its not that Im against change or anything like that. Its that they NEVER EVEN OFFER the same services or quality. Its a DOWNGRADE, Every single time !!

Ive been posting (and BUYING) from this site for over 5 YEARS !! I USE to use (and BUY) from DAZ3Ds website as well. But they kept doing this CRAP of changing and offering Less. SO NOW I DONT USE THERE SITE ....OR BUY....FROM THEM ANY MORE.

My main use for this website is to VIEW and Share MY renders with others. This is also what makes me buy products (If I can EASILY view other peoples renders) The Main Gallery SUCKS Now. Im Hesitant to View someones render because when I do, then HIT BACK Im not in the same Viewing spot that I was before !!! (DIDN'T USE TO DO THIS)

So In this, "Posting My Render" Process, It Has Become Ridiculous. Harder to use AND Offering LESS.
When you try to Upload a Render this is whats wrong.....

1. Title - Congratulations...They managed NOT to mess that up.
2. Description - How Can you mess up the description?? Well.. when I write My description, I end sentences where I want and Start new Paragraphs where I want And put Spaces where I want......Not any more, The description is just Jammed all into one Clump of words. Important on the Grand scale of things?...probably not. But my Point is, that it WORKED FINE BEFORE. There was NO CHANGE Needed. They had to put in MORE effort to get LESS of a result !!
3. Album - unaffected (Or should I say un-INFECTED)
4. Gallery- unaffected
5. Genre- unaffected
6. Thumbnail - The OLD (Better) Version simply AUTO GENERATED a smaller version of your Pic. NOT ANYMORE....Oh, I Have to generate my own on every upload !!?? WTF So I open Photoshop, find my Render, Save a small version of my Render(Which I dont want or need) to my computer, Go back, Select My New thumbnail......Blah... Blah... Once again the ABILITY WAS ALREADY THERE !! MORE effort for LESS Product on there part.
7. Image - God...Where do I even Start !!?? First a lot of people (me included) seem to post a landscape style Render. (Width Wider than its Height)
   With the "NEW" System the Max Pixels are 1200 Width by 1500 Height. WTF!!?? why are the wanting to put My renders in this configuration ? CAN You post a Landscape Pic anyway ?? Of course you can.....With a MAX Width Of 1200 !!?? Seriously !!! The "Click on the Pic" to see the LARGER version, I now pretty much the SAME DAMN SIZE !! Pathetic ! a lot of us make our renders large to see all of the items in the scene and all of the detail. Before there was also a Max Size (512KB) If I remember correctly. Awesome, This gave me a descent size picture for others to view. OK FINE, you cant have everybody uploading all of these Monster pictures. More money for you to store them. ok, fine, But dont put a dimension restriction PUT A SIZE Restriction ....uummm.... Oh yeah.....LIKE BEFORE !!!
8. Keywords - Minimum 2 ???? WHY ?? Oh well ..Whatever
9. Credits - Unaffected
10. Options and permissions - Ok "use in Renderosity advertising" Sure, Fine. I use the site, Why not. Pretty Private.
    Share on Facebook, Twitter etc. ......ABSOLUTELY NOT. If I want My Renders Posted Somewhere else I WILL POST THEM. Now this option wouldnt Bother me as much IF....IF they STILL HAD THE " SAVE FOR FUTURE UPLOADS" Button Like they USE TO HAVE BEFORE. Everytime I upload a photo I mus Remember to "UNCHECK" this Box. ( Its AUTOMATICALLY CHECKED Every time) If you're not going to have the " SAVE FOR FUTURE UPLOADS" Button At least have it UNCHECKED each time.
11. Content Advisory - unaffected

13. " SAVE FOR FUTURE UPLOADS" Button - MISSING Uuumm... Great tool, saves time, makes things easier for....I dont know....maybe....Your CUSTOMERS..... ME...the One who uses your site, the one that has purchased products for you for 5 YEARS.

Sorry for The long RANT But seriously...this has got to STOP.
Renderosity has been a Nice Mental "Getaway" For me for so many years. I've posted so many renders, seen Even more renders, Learned from so many people. Ive had a lot of fun.

If they keep making things MORE difficult to use and OFFERING LESS, its only a matter of time before I, and I'm sure, Others will simply get tired of it and move on.

Oh, already?? You' d better be quick fixing it (would not have needed fixing if you hadn't changed it), before a lot of miffed members (i.e. your customers) leave.

Took some time to read through all comments, so if you did the same there is no need to repeat all that. The new layout of the galleries to me seems to be designed for those with a short attention span. Having different sizes of thumbs makes it more difficult to get a quick overview of what is interesting to look at. If more artists- and I would include myself here - start uploading renders with a standardised thumbnail, then the galleries will not be fun to look at. However I will not generate a thumbnail, since this can be done automatically or when an advisory thumbnail is needed.

Until fixed (better still: reset to original), I will not post new renders. And no: I would not pay for a Reset-to-Previous-Button. That I do/did with my purchases.
