A lot of my favorite artists are missing from the new activity feed. I had at least a hundred favorite artists, Where are they now?

drifterlee - I'm not quite sure of an answer for you but I'm looking into it! :)

The activity feed has an issue that nobody at RR has addressed. The people you actually want to see might be getting lost in all the other stuff that shows up there.

The activity feed reports new images from everyone who used to be a favorite artist, AND it reports new images from everyone who used to be on your "friends" list. There's also something about vendors or something, but I've not retained that information because I didn't need it. Suffice to say, the activity feed is now fluffed up with a bunch of stuff you DON'T want to see, and the stuff you DO want to see might be getting buried under a mountain of unnecessary information.

Here's how you fix the problem:

Click your little avatar that lives in the black bar at the top of the screen on the right-hand side.

Choose "View Profile."

Scroll down just a bit, and on the right side of the page you'll see a couple of numbers, one for "following" and one for "followers." Click the number for "following," and you'll see the list they're using to populate your activity feed.

You can "unfollow" those people you don't know, aren't interested in, or from whom you just don't care to see notices in your activity feed.

When I cleaned up my list, deleting those people who were "friends" because they'd sent a request eight years ago, clearing out people who haven't posted for years, my activity feed went from reporting on 209 people to reporting on 27. MUCH more manageable!!

Try cleaning that up, and then see if the activity feed works better for you.

All your favorite artist should be there. The activity feed does not filter anything out. Did you check to make sure that one of your favorite artist uploaded but you didn't see it on your feed? :)
