Subject: Tips for Comic Styles?

I was just admiring the art in the Let's See Your Comic Style! thread, and wanted to ask: Do people have any particular tips, especially for lighting? I've just started experimenting with comic book options in Poser 2014, and I feel like I'm missing something. Though maybe it's just that I need more practice, of course.

This is a great opportunity to show what PP2014's comic style can do guys. Here is an intro:

Here is an example I just did to show basic lighting "Default Poser 1" in PP14's basic light sets with lights moved to create an edge shadow in the face. You needn't worry about things such as SSS or IDL unless their effects have baring on the image.

Another tutorial from Smith Micro:

IF you have any questions, I for one have been "playing" with the comic aspects of PP14 for quite a while now.

Thank you, and nice illo! I'd forgotten about increasing the preview resolution, and that helps a lot. Onward and upward!
