SAMS3D ( ) posted Thu, 04 October 2001 at 2:25 PM

I am going to post a picture later this evening....I need someone to guess it before then....maybe if you go to our site you will find a hint. Sharen

Daffy34 ( ) posted Thu, 04 October 2001 at 3:01 PM

Oh, wait!! It's one of those Kinkade-type cottages? The trellis and gate would look great! That it? Huh? Oh, I'm stumped. Laurie

SAMS3D ( ) posted Thu, 04 October 2001 at 3:02 PM

Sorry no, NOT A MANSION.....no gingerbread, .....keep them coming.....this is killing me....I know I said we were going to do this...ah alas...noone listened....feels like home....Mike nods his head alot....he doesn't listen....I sometimes don't even listen to what I say...Sharen

Sharen (in the Poser thread) says: Okay, okay, slow down, YES, it is a building of some sort, (and you were smart to go to the web site and see that) but what kind......I will tell you, someone from Renderosity sent us blueprints of a building....it was mentioned here about a month ago, someone would want this for a Christmas scene (no not the north pole, or Santa's anything) but I know that there is a reason why we have put some of the freebies on our site....a few of them just might go with it. You are getting close...Sharen Not a gingerbread house. Not a North Pole Santa's toy shop. Blueprints of a building, that seems familiar, was that our own MikeJ who offered blueprints to something some while back? -- or maybe I am just mis-remembering. Someone would want it for a Christmas scene...matches up with some of the freebies... ::wandering off, scratching a head with much less hair::

Ohhh wow, it's *beautiful*!! And darn, darn, darn, I should've made a guess, because I found the thread from back in May where Sharen mentioned this: ***>We do have an entire house though that you can walk through, all rooms, stairs, kitchen sinks, bathrooms, windows, with a built in pool etc. Maybe we will let that one go to. But like I said we would love to see artwork, it is a real enjoying feeling to see what others can do with our models.*** Another gotta-have SAMS model! :)

SAMS3D ( ) posted Fri, 05 October 2001 at 3:49 AM

Your sweet Varien. Thank you. Sharen PS: I want to use most of your textures to actually finish this.

Varian ( ) posted Fri, 05 October 2001 at 1:36 PM

The pictures of the model give me tons of ideas. As soon as I get done playing with the real house here, I'm going to play with yours! :)

Irish ( ) posted Fri, 05 October 2001 at 5:55 PM

This is soooooo darn fabulous that I am sitting here drooling...hahaha...well almost! Will be looking forward to it's official release. Hearty congratulations on a beautiful masterpiece! Irene

SAMS3D ( ) posted Fri, 05 October 2001 at 6:26 PM

Well, I just finished it.....whewy.....what a job. It will be posted officially tomorrow. Hope you all like it, it is poser read too, I am thinking of making it Vue ready...what do you all think? Sharen

Varian ( ) posted Fri, 05 October 2001 at 10:22 PM

If it's OBJ or 3DS, it'll slip into Vue okay. I wouldn't go to any extra trouble with it unless you're including Vue materials. Especially since you e-mail the models...VOBs tend to be on the heavy side. :/

Yes, you are right. Sharen
