exactly...
and i understand the push push push[y] of joining Prime these days, so i kind of understand why it was sent to all members - it's the wording mostly that is all sorts of wrong.
however, this whole Prime campaign is really becoming a turn off, from the way pricing shows in the MP, to emails that do not relate to my membership - t'is all becoming a bit much...
in the real world, like a store you physically walk into & have the ability to talk to the store manager kind of place, the business will typically acknowledge the mistake & extend the coupon in favour of the more all-encompassing statement, meaning that everyone should be allowed to use the coupon, regardless, because of the wording. and/or, they would refund or offer credit to those folks who tried to use the coupon under confusing/mis-leading terms and were denied usage yet made a purchase anyway [though the latter, admittedly, and honestly, is far more of a managerial discretionary decision]. having spent far too many years in retail, and i've yet to find a company who didn't utilise 'good faith' practises in one way or another in order to maintain that all important customer retention.
I got this newsletter too and understood totally where the OP was coming from. Since when did ‘ALL MEMBERS’ equate to a select membership? And if 'ALL MEMBERS’ are included, exactly how should it ‘READ’? Did I ‘read' it wrong?, maybe… but the words that really glare out to me are ‘FALSE ADVERTISING’!

The email for the current coupon says "The Renderosity MarketPlace Staff is offering Savings to All members! Savings of 22% off of $30 minimum purchase. From now thru 11:59pm (CDT) on Thursday, October 29th, Renderosity Prime Members can save on items in our MarketPlace."
But the actual coupon code, "Oct27Prime22P30", clearly says Prime, and as I am no longer a Prime member, it will not allow me to use it when I try to apply it. Was there supposed to be a coupon for ALL members as the message text stated?
