I can't find the hidden metals, its says press the Ctrl+Alt keys and click to the right of the preview window, but i tried and no luck besquaredx@yahoo.com

Uh I think you mean Hidden Material Library??? As far as I know there is not a hidden Metal Library (although I am not absolutely sure).

there is no hidden material library too! never heard about it

What i guess, in the matlab on the right side there is an arrow to select textures.if you click on the arrow you see a list of textures, when you hold down the " shift"key while clicking you get previews

you can shift click the texture editor in the materials lab to get a hidden texture browser.
