Subject: Creating companion files for materials for Poser from DAZ Studio...

I am in the process of creating a character in DAZ studio and creating the companion files for use in Poser 9. The character is based on Genesis 2 Female, and it has basic texture maps, bump maps, etc.

The material setup is exactly the same as G2F out of the box, but with the new textures assigned, so nothing fancy going on there.

When I create the material preset companion file for Poser, it only contains texture ( diffuse ) maps, but no bump maps, etc. I tried it with g2F out of the box and get the same results.

So, is there a way to preserve bump maps, etc, or do I have to set them up manually in poser?

I always found it better to set up poser materials in poser, and d/s ones in daz....the transfers never work good enough for my liking.

Thanks, I suspected that may be the best route, but wanted to see if I was missing something first.
