Subject: Out of Memory - on silk stockings!

I'm a freshman on Poser, - and trying to learn everything at once! lol But I've run into a problem using the free silk stocking models from the models area here. the second I try to apply the stockings to Posette, Poser tells me that I'm out of memory (hey.. I know I'm getting old. lol so I'm trying not to get insulted!:) Then I get the message to save or else... and after that my image disappears. Is there anything wrong with the stockings models? Or do I have to allocate more memory to Poser? In the manual it says how to allocate more memory for Macs, but I'm running Win 2000, with almost a gig RAM.. so I should have enough resources. This doesn't happen with any of the other clothings. Thanks in advance Britt (I might bother y'all some more in the near future, so please be patient with me! :)

as a comparative newbie, to me that tells me that maybe you haven't assigned everything to the right directories. The readme file should tell you where to put things. and hey I learned most of what I know through this forum, they are real pals and very helpful. I used to just read the posts, without adding one. I learned a lot that way. Other mugs get to ask the stoopid questions.

Hmm... will have to investigate that one. The interesting thing is that other stuff in the same directory work, and those darned stockings (sorry sico3D! lol) don't.

to the to the *obj file belongs a rsr-file(same name as the obj file) delete the rsr.poser will built a new one next time. ( from your topic, I thought you were wearing silkstockings when you got out of memory, thats why i never wear silk stockings)

Thanks! the silk stockings work now! :) The file structure in Poser seems confusing. Hopefully I'll get it eventually! :)) laughing and I wasn't the one wearing them...
