First of all, when I double click on an item in the library, it does nothing, although I have it set in preferences exactly the way I did in Poser Pro 14 Game Dev. I have to click the check mark or nothing happens. One of my renders in Superfly came out black. Now I'm using one of the presets but I get the feeling it will take several hours or maybe days. It's been 15 minutes and still nothing on the screen and the progress bar is blank.... Maybe I set it too high. Is there going to be tutorials for Poser Pro 11? I'm so excited to have it but feeling stupid with my inability to figure it out without instructions... Is there an ability to create INJ/REM poses now? I'm so happy to have this but frustrated that I don't know how to use it. Will there be tutorials for 11 on Roku? Can't wait to use all the new features but unfortunately I'm more of an artist than a tech geek LOL... My render says sample 1907 Path tracing Tile 34/1102 and the progress bar is still blank. Should I give up and try a lower setting? Also, this image, is on the screen, but has nothing to do with my render...Screen Shot 2015-11-24 at 1.20.33 PM.png

Yes, I'm sure there will be many tutorials and lots of help and advice in all of the poser forums. But the program is still very new and it takes time for the folks who are brighter than I am to create the tutorials. Currently, your best bet would be to find Poser 11 specific forums and ask your questions there. Some of them may be a bit rude, but someone will have the information you need, or know where you can find it.

Generally, unless you're ready for the final render, you'll want to use pretty low render settings... with Fire fly, that would be similar to unchecking SSS until you're ready for the final render. PP11's defaults are probably adequate for test renders.

OKay I might be of some help as far as the black renders go. It happens to ma a lot. If your camera is to low or you have something too close to the lens you get either a black or white screen, depending on what your preferences are set....Now I have a problem that might be relate to that other problem you seem to be having. See I am disabled and my fingers make involuntary movements, so I have strange things pop up all the time. Now I would check out what you are talking about, but I am in the middle of a render. To get to a possible answer for you is that yes poser pro 11 does react differently then earlier versions. If you hold the click to long and move too fast you will actually move your actor or prop to another place in your library. right click on the thumb nail and it will ask you if you want to move the selected item... I hope that comes close to answering your question....

if you keep the pixel samples down to about 20 to 25 it will reduce greatly the time needed to render
