Subject: paypal?

musicat ( ) posted Wed, 09 December 2015 at 6:25 PM · edited Sun, 05 January 2025 at 3:26 PM

I can't use paypal to pay for what is in my cart. I can only select a credit card & that is the only option available. when paypal is selected, you get the credit card info fill in form. Same with the invoice.

Hello,

I have tested this and do not get where it is asking me for credit card information after I chose to pay with Paypal. I am using Chrome and checked with the latest Firefox version as well and everything worked as it should be.

Can you please tell me what browser you are using if you are still having trouble?

Thank you

I was using both chrome & firefox. I have firefox 42.0. I don't like chrome too much so I purchase with FF. Here is a screenshot of what I see when I go to check out.

Does this happen all the time or is it sporadic? Also, are you using the latest version of FF as I know this was happening with people running the older version of FF and I have the newest version.

Thank you,

this just started 4 days ago. I have the most up-to-date FF & Chrome. both are doing the same thing. I purchased something before Dec 1st & had no issues before then.

Hi, I have the exact same issue using both Firefox and Chrome and am only able to make a PayPal payment using IE.

KristiS ( ) posted Thu, 17 December 2015 at 2:33 PM

@Borgtrekker12-have you always had this problem?

This has been an issue ever since the website was changed and updated earlier this year. Since then I have not been able to use PayPal in either Firefox or Chrome. When I click on the radio button it activates but leaves the credit card entry lines in place and will not complete the transaction.

Thank you for letting me know, I will pass this along.

Is there any update on this? I still can't checkout with Paypal. I get the same error as everyone else.

I'm really surprised you guys haven't fixed this yet as we can't spend money. Since you guys had a huge issue with credit cards and hacking last year I have no faith in using my credit card on this site.

Can we please get a status update on fixing this?

Thanks.

KristiS ( ) posted Wed, 20 January 2016 at 9:46 AM

Hi snarlthewerewolf,

Please be sure you are using the latest version and you check all your ad blockers and extensions as they sometimes conflict with the checkout process.

Since FF did their latest updates, some people have been having issues. The issues are sporadic which is making it difficult to fix them.

Please try switching to a different browser such as Chrome...you should be able to checkout without any troubles.

Warmest Regards,

I don't want to hijack this thread or cause any hassle but seeing as this is about payment I just want to ask how safe is it to use my card in the store these days. I haven't brought anything here since the hack last year and have my eye on a few things but wanted to know what improvements have been made as I don't really want to go through all that again. Thanks.

Hello,

We have increased our security quite a bit and went way above what we are required to do.

We have not had any further issues and hope to keep in that way.

We still have one of the lowest fraud rates for online stores and continue to be very proud of that. We do take as many measures as we can to do our very best to try and ensure it does not happen in the future.

Warmest Regards,
