I wanted to let our photography community know that the EXIF is back. Only NEW (as of today on) images will display all info to the right hand side of your gallery image. Please see the screenshot below:

FYI --

Since the EXIF data is displayed in a separate box from the photograph, and is pulled from the photograph's embedded data by Renderosity's programming, it isn't possible to "Photoshop it out."

We used to have the option on the upload page to show EXIF data, just like we have the option to add the image to an album or disallow social sharing. So what we have now is that every photograph gets published with its EXIF data whether we want it or not.

Actually you can. You are able to remove the EXIF by doing the following when saving your image in Photoshop or Lightroom:

In Photoshop, simply go to File->Save for Web & Devices and make sure that “Metadata” is set to “None”. Once you save the file, all EXIF and XMP Data will be gone.

You can achieve a similar result in Lightroom by checking “Minimize Embedded Metadata” while exporting an image.

Ahhh ... yes, that's true. To me, Photoshopping something out involves making changes to an image using the clone tool, or some other clever legerdemain. Removing the data in Photoshop is different from what I think of as "Photoshopping it out."
