Subject: Pose converters for Poser rather than Daz?

I've noticed pose converters for Daz that convert poses for one model to another. Are there any for Poser? I'm especially interested in converting M3 poses to M4 and M4 poses to Genesis 1.

You can apply Universal Poses to any figure be clicking on the double check icon at the bottom of your library. Afterwards, save the poses back as a Library file. However, the translation is not as clean as one would like; usually the hands and feet may need tweaking and you may need to either have limits on or off for the desired effect. There is a script to convert multiple files to universal poses but it is rather messy and will retain default morph settings. In other words, if you apply one of these converted poses to a morphed figure, the figure will revert to zero morph default.

hborre, I have Universal Poses on in Poser Pro 2014, but I don't see a double check icon at the bottom of my library. I can load poses for the "wrong" model and get results that need hand and foot tweaking, but I was hoping for a Poser program that would reduce or eliminate the tweaking. I've read that Daz programs can do a good job of converting between the 4th Gen characters and the Genesis 1-3 characters. It may be I just need to accept that I'll need to do some tweaking. In any case, thanks for the reply!

DAZStudio has an add-in for pose conversion but you need to purchase the application. That automatically corrects hand and feet translations. The Universal Pose feature in PP2014's general preference is only for saving universal poses into the library not apply it. I am not at my own computer right now, but when I get a chance, I will screencap the Library setting.

Looking forward to it!
