This image is not by me; it was entered by PapaBlueMarlin in ?February? 2005; it has 3 comments dated "02/05/2005" : 2 May 2005 (if UK date) or 5 February 2005 (if USA date). I saved it on my computer because it uses one of my models. Search in Renderosity's gallery as it is now finds 4 pages of images by him (including some prehistoric animals), but not this image. Has there been any significant loss of Renderosity images (in galleries or in forum messages) down the years of changes and moves of Renderosity's site? (I seem to remember some loss of my oldest gallery images, also, although I did not delete them.)

I couldn't tell you any numbers of how many images have been deleted (by the creator) as I don't have that data. But I can tell you the site itself does not remove old images. That is up to the creator to remove images etc. :)

Sorry: "the site itself does not remove old images": I was not referring to deliberate deletion but to system accidents and suchlike.

I understand, there has been no accidental deletions that I have heard of. :)
