Subject: Are we NOT allowed to EDIT our OWN gallery images?

I tried to add a link to my FREESTUFF forum post, under an older freebie IMAGE in my GALLERY that I had uploaded a couple of years ago...so I went to Edit, typed all the information, hit enter and your site said I WAS NOT ALLOWED TO EDIT THIS IMAGE! grrrr!! All I could do was leave a comment on how to find my freebe (PER RENDO RULES).

I use IE 11

Lyne ... that happened to me yesterday when I was making albums. I opened an old image, and when I tried to save my edit, it said I wasn't authorized. Turns out I hadn't chosen a genre when I originally posted the image. Once I picked a genre and the program read the form as being complete, the edit worked with no problems.

oh darn it... took me a while, and some errors in uploading to realize I simply had not checked the box at the very bottom to say it is MY image, I own it ...

There is so much to do, it gets very confusing... my dyslexia does not help! Today I uploaded my Christmas card, and had missed entering a genra... got the error, telling me I HAD to choose one... fine.... but have to be careful as the IMAGE UPLOAD field was again EMPTY... sigh... AT LEAST all the words about the image were still intact ... !

12312015 . I have heard numerous complaints about editing an gallery post and having to re-enter all the credits. it is time consuming to search for the vendor names and even more so for the products. some products have more than one name. I have to go and do a search for the product to see what the exact wording is. the runtime name is not necessarily the name of the product. even vendors names are listed differently in different places. not every member is listing credits so why make it difficult for those that do list them?

I'm one of those who's complained about this. The crazy thing is the links could lead to sales of these Renderosity products. This problem of dropping the credits is not only annoying, it's probably costing Renderosity money.

The same is true when people delete their galleries, all the credits go with them. Trouble is, while some people clearly do care, Rendo as a company don't seem to care even if it is costing them money, then again so much about the site is costing them money so this is just another aspect.

I use Poser 13 on Windows 11 - For Scene set up I use a Geekcom A5 -  Ryzen 9 5900HX, with 64 gig ram and 3 TB  storage, mini PC with final rendering done on normal sized desktop using an AMD Ryzen Threadipper 1950X CPU, Corsair Hydro H100i CPU cooler, 3XS EVGA GTX 1080i SC with 11g Ram, 4 X 16gig Corsair DDR4 Ram and a Corsair RM 100 PSU .   The desktop is in a remote location with rendering done via Queue Manager which gives me a clearer desktop and quieter computer room.
