I'm thinking of upgrading my laptop and pc to Windows 10.Before I do so, I want to make sure..... Do Poser Pro and Poser Pro 2012 work with Windows 10?

Just my opinion here. But why do you think Windows 10 is free and you still have to pay for Windows 7?

Windows 10 contains a fair amount of spyware that sends info about you back to MicroSoft.

If you are on 7 and it's working for you, I do not recommend an upgrade unless there is a feature in 10 you really need or must have. But then, I would still add "O&O Shutup" to kill the spying and "Classic Shell" to give me a familiar interface. Still not as good as 7, though.

I'm pretty sure Window 7 sent more then enough info back to MS right now :D Why I want to upgrade? Don't want to run into the same problem as XP. I've got 2 laptops still running, that are used by some members in my household, that use XP. They came with XP and after all these years, the laptops still work fine. You can't really use them for everything anymore though. Secondly gaming. We've set up a network for gaming and if one of the machines in it goes Windows 10, they all go.

If I could go back and not upgrade to 10, I would.

I've noticed my computer running slower, especially poser. And the last update killed my wifi, I had to uninstall it to get it to work again.

I let my wife's laptop upgrade to 10. I lost the wifi and the network printer. Attempts to remove those drivers so that new Win 10 driver could take over failed. I ended up using my knowledge and skill as an actual software developer. I had to reverse engineer how the drivers were wired into the registry and manually make dozens of registry changes. No ordinary user could have done it. Without that surgery, she would have neither Network or Printer right now.

This story is just one story. Your mileage may vary.

No way is Windows 10 touching my work machines. I almost had to replace hers.

As I stated, for me it works well and also no probs with WiFi or network printers, the only prob I had with that update that prevented Poser 2014 to work but this is fortunately fixed.

I upgraded both of my PCs to Windows 10 as soon as it came out. No problems whatsoever. Also my son bought a new gaming computer that came with 10 already on it and has had no problems. My wife decided to keep Windows 8.1, but now she gets almost daily popup nag things trying to get her to upgrade to 10. They're getting more and more aggressive in their attempt to get everyone to upgrade.

I have the same network issues as well.
