Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 21 6:06 am)
These are old figures, nearly 15 years old, so it's a tribute to Poser that they still work at all.
For M3 to M2 clothes problem, (and some other older figures, such as Apollo Maximus), in the Properties Tab of the Body Actor of the clothing, check Match End Points.
For the ladies' ankles, it's an issue with them loading with Inverse Kinematics on, so after loading, turn off IK in the legs, and save back to the Library under a new name, and use that saved version. The IK does work fine if you turn it back on when you need it; it's an issue with it as loaded.
Have Fun!...

"Oh - the manual says that? I have never read the manual - this must be why."Thank you! I'll try that today.
I'm 60, but I'm fairly new to Poser, so the old models don't seem all that old. I understand they have flaws, and I agree the new models are very pretty, but I don't like things too pretty or too close to the uncanny valley. Also, there's so much great cheap and free old stuff. So I'm very grateful for your help!
Great! Speaking of Apollo, if you haven't gotten him, he's a nice free older figure. He can be downloaded here...

you plight makes you sound like me. anyone in these forums knows by now where i am at not being the sharpest nail in the poser user bag and now we have another. welcome and good luck!
Freak 3 has that same IK problem. Strangely I don't see it when I load M3 or A3. Apollo and M3/freak 3 are still my favorite male figures. Never really caught on with M4, too much of a money pit after V4.

I recently picked up Michael 3 because I wanted to use his 3-to-2 for older clothing, but the clothing fit in PP2014 is distorted when I conform the clothing: the lower part of the body seems to fit fine, but the upper chest and collar area is pushed upward and forward. While the clothing for A3 LE and Vic 3-to-2 fits fine, when I load their bodies, the connection between their feet and ankles is off, as if they've been cut off and only partly stuck back on. Has anyone else noticed these problems? Is there a solution?
I'm on a Mac, and I'm effectively still a noob, so either or both of those could be my problem.
