Subject: How to edit textures for models (PZ2?) Photoshop

GetCheeky ( ) posted Wed, 27 January 2016 at 2:08 AM · edited Fri, 29 November 2024 at 5:49 PM

I'm proficient with Photoshop. When I navigate to the texture files of models, they're in a PZ2 format. I can't seem to find out how to edit those textures, and searching Google has yielded no information for me. I don't even know where to start, please point me in the right direction!

In the pz2 or mc6 files there is only the location of the files and the shder settings. If you search in the pz2 file with a text editor for .jpg you'll find the correct location if the teture files.

Just make sure you do not redistribute the textures you edit. For textures you can edit and redistribute, you would want to look for merchant resources. And even then, you need to check the TOU in the readme, if you are wanting to redistribute the textures you have edited for free character. You can find some amazing resources in the marketplace here

Naw, this is for me to make rendered images with. I don't have any plans to sell on the marketplace(s). Thank you, though!
