I have my own solution for this ... I install Poser and all its content in an external drive, so it wouldn't matter what computer I am using.
That certainly is one solution, but I have no external drive and wouldn't you have to move it to each location of the computer you want to use it on? I am not familiar with the usage.

Or, set up the folder as a remote folder accessible by your local network - I am not familiar with MAC OS, but I believe it can be done. 2 or more machines should be able to read and/or write to remote folders when all the security permissions and networking have been correctly set up.

Here are a couple of things that work for me:
Add an external drive to your router to access over the network. I use an Airport Express and a 500GB HD. You'll have to use external runtimes if you're not already. Add those runtimes to both Poser libraries and receive any changes made to them.
Bit Torrent Sync is a free peer to peer software. I use it for sharing files and folders between home and work. It shares files directly between computers (no cloud involved). Takes a bit of time to set up, but once done you just share the runtime folders on the host computer with any other computer. It will download those files to the second computer but keep them in sync thereafter.

How to inter change Poser projects between two computers: As long as you keep all textures for added objects and clothing textures in on folder there is no problem. e.g. Move the object file and all it’s textures to the same file as the Poser pz3 file along with any textures used in the material room (for instance a texture from your computer or elsewhere that you are using on a figure or prop or imported obj). So far I have had good success using this to open the pz3 file between two computers. Just remember to have it all collected to one folder.

Hi Poser users: I use Poser Pro Game Dev 10.0.5.30556 on a MacBook Pro Retina, Mid 2012 15 in. OS X 10.9.5, I have one in My Living Room and one in My Studio (got them before I retired). I work during the days in my studio. But in the evenings I like to work in my living room. I save my Poser file to Bit Sync or Drop Box or any where on the cloud. When I open the file on the other computer invariably it will ask where some files are usually texture files. How can I overcome this behavior? I have the collect inventory script but that doubles up on my files which I would rather not do. How can I collect the needed files in one place, So as I change things I can add files to this location and both computers will find the necessary files to open the file?
