Subject: A question about Vue 8 Complete

Shari123 ( ) posted Mon, 29 February 2016 at 2:56 PM · edited Sat, 11 January 2025 at 6:27 AM

It's been quite a while for me. I have had to change computers and I need to get my Vue reinstalled. The problem is that I have changed from a 32 Bit to a 64 Bit system. I can't seem to figure out how to contact anyone at Eon and ask them to repackage my Vue for a 64 Bit system. I currently am navigating my way around Vue Pioneer but I'm at a loss because I am limited as to what I can do. I hope to be able to uninstall it after I get my Vue 8 Complete back. I can't afford an upgrade at present so what do I need to do?

Thank you. I'll try sales first. Technically speaking, my version of Vue is no longer supported so I was wondering what to do.

If it's any help I run Windows 7 on a 64 bit system and Vue 8 Complete installs and runs just fine. The 64 bit executable is already packaged in the installer and will recognise what system you're running and install the correct version. When installed the Vue splash screen will say '64 bit' so you know you're good to go. Hope this helps.

Just an update. I successfully downloaded and installed Vue 8 Complete 64 bit. But, it appears that it will not work in system 10. It looks like I'll have to put it together a piece at a time.

It may just be a warning. My Vue 9.5 says the same thing for Windows 10. But it works fine anyway. The installers auto-sense if you have 32 or 64-bit OS, by the way.
