Subject: Main Camera and Aux Camera going crazy and acting strange

DocSlappy ( ) posted Wed, 09 March 2016 at 11:14 PM · edited Mon, 25 November 2024 at 8:39 AM

Almost without fail....Using Poser 9 - When I get well into building a pose, The Main Camera and followed shortly by the Aux Camera, they both start going haywire and uncontrollable. Like they need a Reset to smooth out the operation. Most times my pose figures will go off the screen into space and by that time both cameras become unusable. Is there a active thread already covering this - or - does anyone know if there's a fix. Thanks

I would be interested in any answer. I have Poser 2014 and the main camera is unusable as it is is far too sensitive and flys of at the merest touch. For me the Aux is fine and that has become my default camera to use. I have tried moving all the settings from the Aux to main camera but the main is still usable.

I use Poser 13 on Windows 11 - For Scene set up I use a Geekcom A5 -  Ryzen 9 5900HX, with 64 gig ram and 3 TB  storage, mini PC with final rendering done on normal sized desktop using an AMD Ryzen Threadipper 1950X CPU, Corsair Hydro H100i CPU cooler, 3XS EVGA GTX 1080i SC with 11g Ram, 4 X 16gig Corsair DDR4 Ram and a Corsair RM 100 PSU .   The desktop is in a remote location with rendering done via Queue Manager which gives me a clearer desktop and quieter computer room.

Hmmm, the last time I heard of this behavior was years ago with an earlier version. If this is the same situation, simply hitting the space bar will remedy the problem. Of course, this is assuming if it is identical to prior reports.

I had an issue similar it cleared up when I changed from Open GL to SpreeD

You might as well PAY attention, because you can't afford FREE speech

muchas gracias Stallion, That did make my human model reappear onto the screen, in both Aux and Main Camera. At first I thought you had solved my problem. But when I started trying Pan In/Out or Zoom In/Out, the model is like froze in place and the during Pan or Zoom operation, the model starts flickering and slightly deforming.
