I get it all the time too. Didn't think of the implications. I actually liked the image ... but then I look for quality over content and become oblivious to some of the subliminal aspects. I can see now how this can be a bit over aggressive. I would have suggested you express your feelings to a moderator directly rather than a thread to avoid a negative atmosphere developing in the thread. I will let our marketing department know how your feel about this.

Advertising isn't exactly new, it's been around for a very long time. If you read a newspaper, it's full of ads, if you read a magazine, it's full of ads, if you drive down the highway, there's ads, and if you visit commercial websites, there's ads. That's how a free commerce systems works. Google has tuned it a bit more efficient. If you don't want to see ads, clear your cache, get a cookie cruncher, get an adblocker; anything. But it's silly to think merchants aren't going to advertise their goods and services, at least if they want to stay in business. I get an art gallery for free to post my art, but someone has to pay for that. So whether you stand on the corner with a sign selling oranges, or advertise on the internet, I'm not going to get bent because someone is trying to make a living. At least on the internet I can use an adblocker. I wish I could adblock that billboard down the street with the cow telling me to eat mor' chicken. I think I'll have pizza tonight, someone left an ad on my doorknob with a coupon.

There's a new browser in town, only in beta I think, called Brave. Blocks most everything by default. I think it's the future as people are just getting fed up with cookies and ads that follow them long after they have already bought the product.
Amazon is notorious for that, asking you if you want to 'buy it again', or suggesting products you looked at for three seconds a month ago.

I can't tell if the woman is being threatening or offering a peculiar service with her hands...
