Whether it is a horse, dog, cat or goldfish ... (rabbit, hamster ...) we have all had a favorite pet. Have you ever made a digital version of that Pet? Show us your pets and tell their stories. Oh, and add a photograph of them as well. I will add several myself. First is a WIP of Joxer our mix breed.

Joxer was a rescue. He had been tied up to a post as a pup. A guard dog for a crack house. No shelter, little food or water. It took him a long time to learn to trust us. Since then he's become my roommate's shadow, always joyous every time she comes home from work. Unfortunately we've just found out he has an aggressive form of lymphoma, and even with medication (chemo is cost prohibitive for us) he only has 3 to 6 months ... but we will baby him and love him for all his time with us.

best you can do is take good care of him and make him comfortable I lost a cocker to cancer too and I am sorry to hear about your Joxer and wish you the best

We are giving him some meds to help shrink the tumors and make him a bit more comfy, but that's all we can do other than give him lots of walks, playtime, laptime and Love.

P.S. Sorry to hear about your cocker. It's harder than non-pet people realize.

It's hard when you love a pet and then find they are going to be gone soon. Think of the wonderful life and all of the love he has had since he was rescued. You and your roommate did a wonderful thing for Joxer.

I love all of this support, thank you. Have any of you done any pet images? I guess I got side tracked, sometimes using real life as an inspiration can backfire. That being said, It is wonderfully heartwarming to see this support for our "puppy".

Oh Boni, I am so sorry, it is heartbreaking to watch a fur baby decline. All you can do is love them and let them know you are there...
