Subject: Procedural Metal Shaders needed

DocMatter ( ) posted Wed, 27 April 2016 at 5:22 PM ยท edited Thu, 28 November 2024 at 4:03 PM

The procedural metal shaders that come with Poser are very limited, but I can't seem to find any better ones anywhere. Any suggestions?

How about this for PP11, if another version let me know.

Just change the color for gold, silver ... etc.

Kalypso-- The EZ Metals are awesome! Thanks! Boni -- I have PP 2014, not Poser 11.

That being the case, EZmetals are the go-to for what you want!

Tried to download but my antivirus threw a hissy fit and dumped the zip. Said it was a dangerous site. :-(

Can't you override the security software? I'm sure it's just because the site doesn't have certifications. OR to be on the safe side, contact basicwiz@basicwiz.com and let him know about the zip.

Yeah, I'll try it again later. Using McAfee and it seems to be a bit too paranoid sometimes.

I've just re-scanned everything on the site including the html. There are no issues. Please contact me if you cannot resolve this. Wizzie.

Got it now, was McAfee doing the stupid. I just told it to "Accept the risk" when the warning popped up and it kept the zip. Scanned it after and no problems. Thanks. :-)

EZ metals are great, but I'd recommend turning off the ambient value if you intend using them in IDL renders.
