Subject: My Final Full Frame Animation? Cyberpunk Dystopia Episode 19. On Youtube.

Hi.

Thanks to everyone who has followed my progress for the past 6 and 1/4 years. Today I release episode 19 of "Cyberpunk Dystopia". It's not the end of the story, but it is the end of series 1, and without funding the end of my full frame rate animations.

I am writing the end to series 2 now.

I proudly present

"The Damned and the Redeemed". Cyberpunk Dystopia 3D Animation (Ep 19)

Hope you like it. :)

I agree, looks great full screen.

Thanks Steve K - a fair proportion of it was rendered at 1080. :)

Nice work on this. I am curious as to what type of computer and the computer specs you rendered this on? What frame rate you rendered this at, 24FPS or 30FPS? How long it took to render? Cheers and you have a new sub at youtube.

I would rather be Politically Incorrect,
Then have Politically Correct-Incorrectness!!!

Hi Thelby. Thanks for subscribing.

You'll be glad to know this was all done on a modest set up. A 3 year old PC (Which was only mid range then). I did splash out on the Graphics card (A GTX 780Ti) - that's essential. It takes an age to render but my typical work pattern is animate during the day with test renders, then from dinner time to bed time let it render.

it means you have to live a hermit life during the production time (inc weekends), but it kept costs down. I render at 24FPS to save on rendering time (also fits in with Youtube nicely that way).

This is some serious animation work. Very very well done. The sewage scene turned-up my stomach though.

Thanks dr_bernie. re: Sewage scene. There are lots of "future shock" scenes to come. I am currently working on story-boarding the remaining episodes (29 in total with a re-release of the pilot, plus some optional episodes) and recording the music for series 2. I've gone onto Patreon for support to animate the series further as I've self funded thus far - the life of a 3d artist eh? https://www.patreon.com/scififunk?ty=h
