Subject: Commercial Use of my Child and Height Dials

I've been asked a few questions the last few days, so I thought I would clear some things up.

Does this work in DAZ Studio? The PBM Injection will probably not work in DS. However, if you inject the dials into a figure and then load that into DS, it will probably work fine.

Do I need to add morphs to clothing?

Yes - V4 Height and M4 Height are mainly a scale dial, with a smoothing morph for any settings between 0 and -1 Yes - V4 and M4 child is made of three dials - one head morph, one body morph and one master ChildScaled dial that contains all the scaling and turns on the other two morphs.

How do I get the clothing to fit?

Poser has an option in the properties tab which conforms scaling, and morphs. If you are using any character with scaling built in like Stephanie, you want to use this option.

Can vendors use these morphs for characters?

Yes - as long as my morphs aren't included in your project. You need to make a MOR pose to set your character, just like you would if setting a DAZ dial in addition to your own. You could even save it as a second pose 'My Character Height' to make it simpler for you and your customers.

Can you teach me how to make a morph with scaling? Yes, probably. There are a few methods. If people are interested I can write up a tutorial for the marketplace.

I would be interested in seeing some products in the market place like pose sets for V4 child with "family", and some nice characters and textures. Love esther

This has been a big topic on another board (HOTEL WHISKEY). I'm sure people would be interested.
