MalwareBytes Anti Exploit if you get the 14 day trial it will offer more for the first 14 days but continues with the essentials for browsers after it expires and won't interfere with your regular AV software. Be worth upgrading when you can. Same as any of the MalwareBytes applications it is the first I have used that are not practically a virus themselves and co exist with the main AV applications with no conflict. Between that, Defender(MS security essentials) and reasonable browsing habits you should be set.

Recent articles on Wired indicate that experts are saying that even the best antivirus programs are easily exploited. I've taken to using my older computer with Linux to 'do' the internet. It has nothing important on it. My good one (with all my graphics programs) never goes online and I share the monitors, keyboard and mouse with an inexpensive KVM switch. While there are a few viruses for Linux, it's not a target like the popular OS's. It's immune to the recent rash of ransomware and if something does go bad, I can reload it in a few minutes from a backup on a USB stick.

I hate missing with the mechanics of PCs n have no idea about all this stuff.

Thanks for the info.

Since there free don't guess it will hurt to get all of them MalwareBytes Anti and Exploit Avast Antivirus and what ever else huh ?

Hi there

I'm on W7 64bit and I don't use any kind of AV,few years back I've run AV and I've got almost every week some kind of virus... Currently on all browsers I'm using Adblock and few other plugins which has helped a lot

But usually every two weeks I'm using Malwarebytes AntiMalware and Combofix just to check if there is some kind of virus

Hope this helps

Thanks,Jura

I sometimes I'm very surprised with people who running two AV and several other Firewalls and all sort of the programs...

Several years back I've run too several AV on my PC,but this has caused only slowdowns and more viruses, emails I'm not opening if they come from sources which I don't know or I don't recognize and mostly I always have look what source and what email and downloading attachments from emails, this I don't do,only in Sandbox environment

I would suggest use other email engine for yours emails,I've used Thunderbird in past which has works for me there in past

If I'm anarchist who cares,I'm virus free for several years

Hope this helps

Thanks,Jura

I use Malwarebytes free. I can't afford to upgrade it. If you can stand it frowning at you all the time. It will update when you do a scan. I actually prefer the lowest end of ZoneAlarm. Its about 10 dollars for the live virus protection.**
