that looks cool - maybe you could do a roughed up/torn up version as well! do one mat file manually and from then you have one you can change easily by search/replace the jpg names. generous offering, kudos and all that :)

Make sure to use BBeditLite (which is a free program that can be found at most MAC freeware sites like www.macdownload.com) to create your MAT files and then run them through MacConverter - that finally was what I found worked for me. Any other word processer seemed to screw up the formatting so that they didn't work properly. Open up the MAT file that came with the outfits in BBEDIT lite and change the texture path to point to your textures. Make sure to start with the runtime folder. The path should look something like this - :Runtime:Textures:Adventurers:yourtexture.jpg Save it under a new name and run it through MacConverter. It should work but will still have the original thumb. If you want a new thumb for it you can either start with the .cr2 and edit down to MAT file (there are good tuts to on how to do that) or use my quick and dirty cheat. Create a .cr2 file (or any poser library file except a pose file) with the thumb you want on the MAT file. Run that file and your MAT file through MacConvert using the Export to PC function and make sure to check the "Delete Macintosh resource fork" box. You'll end up with 4 files a .cr2 and a .rsr and a .pz2 and an .rsr. Delete the .cr2 and the .rsr file from the MAT pose file. Change the name of the .rsr file from the .cr2 file to match the MAT file. Run the .rsr and the MAT file back through MacConverter to create a Mac MAT pose file with the correct thumb.

Many thanks for the quick tutorial, Daio! :o) I was going to do it with BBEdit, I was just hoping there was some sort of utility that would make it easier ;-)) I guess I'll have to reinstall my compiler and make one, then, lol! And thanks to everyone who bothered to have a look at my texture and tell me what they thought of it. :o) It will be available in free stuff sometime during the coming week end. Cheers! Caroline

Just to let everyone know, I've completed the texture and it's now in the FreeStuff section. I really hope you like it and I thank everybody who gave me feedback on this, I appreciate it more that you can imagine. :o) I made archives both for Mac and PC, but I am not able to test the PC files so if you find anything wrong with it, let me know (and accept my apologies!). ;-) Link above is to a preview image I made using my texture set. Hi! I'm working in a texture for Anton's Adventurer costume, this is the second version of it, some small changes - I can't decide which I like better... ;-) What do you think? I plan to make it available in the Free Stuff section by this week-end, if I can find the time to fix a couple of little thingies by then. ;-) I figured I've downloaded so many nice stuff from all of you, I should probably give something back. :o) Also, I was wondering about making a MAT pose file for it... I think there are utilities for this on PC, but I'm on Mac; does anyone know how I can make one? Other than manually, I mean, 'cause that I can figure out, I was just hoping I wouldn't have to though. ;-)) Thanks!!Caroline (laetia)
