Subject: EZSkin Cycles Dirt Soapy Mud

I posted this over at the Smith Micro Forum but nobody has replied.I have installed the new cycles script into EZSkin 3 and it works OK. however there are dirt,mud and soapy renders being shown.Is this separate script or something else? Cheers

Yes, the soap, mud, wet skin for superfly/cycles is a plugin for ezskin 3. You must install it to have use of these functions. Once installed, you must select EZ_CycleSkin (SF) from the shader engine list. The options for the foamy, mud, etc are in the configuration for the shader engine once you have selected it. Here's a screenshot of what should look like.

Also note that the effects will only show up under superfly/cycles. They will not show in a firefly render as they are for superfly/cycles only.

Yep, just choose one of the special effects you want to use., When choosen, it also works on the materials

All good.I worked it out.Upon reading the instructions more closely I found that the cycles script must go in custom shaders. "Pays to always read the instructions".Cheers

If you haven't found it yet, it's due to being in the wrong configuration. From your screenshot, it looks like you looking in the "edit skin" configuration. The mud, etc, are in the configuration for the shader engine, the Cfg button, when you have selected the EZ_CycleSkin (SF).
