It's in Poser format? Excellent! Thanks Kalypso! Mucho appreciated. It was easy to find via Google search though I think Rendo should allow the URL. It's $17.95. Looks like I'll have to wait for their Christmas sale or When they force you to buy something you don't want so you can buy something you do want at a discounted price. Advantage Renderosity. (yes I vented).

They also have very frequent vendor sales so keep an eye out for that too. I don't think I ever bothered with their other sales of buying some new release to get a better discount on something else mainly because they don't support Poser in any of their new releases so that's saved me quite a lot! Glad I could help. :)

I call them 'Hostage Sales'. Occasionally a sale may have a few things that I want/need, but oft times, nah. Don't spend there as much as I used to.

I think there's a big PA sale next month, so ya might wanna wait until then ;). I have this hair too...VERY nice :). Also, PA's have impromtu sales very frequently so if you check the front shop page once a day (usually at the bottom) it will tell you whose stores are on sale that day.

I'd be curious to know how effective they are. I think only once or twice have I bought a New Release just to take advantage of a sale item I wanted/needed.

One advantage of a place like this is that you do end up saving some money (or getting some of it back) when you spend past a certain amount and qualify for a gift certificate.

That aside (and a bit closer to the original topic), it can get irritating when you see something in the promos and have no idea what it is let alone where it's at.

great looking hair prop but takes nearly forever to render due to huge poly count and many, many strands. I guess if you are going for the fake comic book look with your render you can turn off light emitter and it will render faster.

In reverse order, I've found that nothing takes as much time to render as hair. Ali's hair renders a little faster but for anything like those curls, I know it's either lower my settings or if I want a truly high quality output prepare myself for another 14 hour render in which I don't touch my computer as I don't want to steal a single CPU cycle. I'd love to know if anyone has a truly hot rig (Mine is rated as middle of the pack. AMD Raedon Graphics with a AMD 7700 quad core 3.4Ghz and 8 gig of DDR Ram) and how performs when it hits that hair. Does turning off the light emitter decrease from the quality of the hair in your opinion?) Yes, I think I will do my own testing.

The good thing about this hair is that it is for V4 (Generation 4). I've tried adapting genesis hair to v4 figures and it's just a really big hassle and it never seems to look the way it should. God Bless SAV. Her hair modes are incredible. I hope her loved ones are doing well. Anyway, I used to check at DAZ every single day without exception. Now MAYBE once every couple of weeks. No doubt I've missed some sales I would've been interested in. I know they had a 4 dollar sale for M4 V4 and I waited one day too long to check out and POOF! It was gone. Like NolosQuinn, only once or twice have I bought an item to get the lower price on something else I wanted. They seem to think it's a good idea as it's been going on for at least a couple of years. Hostage Sales. Good name for it.

I will be checking out their PA sale next month. I've been saving for Poser Pro 11 but sometimes I see something I've been waiting for and I just can't hold back! Thanks LaurieA

I do wish that vendors would publish everything they use in their promo's. In this case, Sisters is actually a Genesis 3 figure which is a no go for anyone below Poser 11. Anain and AkashaBloodRiver the two talented vendors who came up with Sisters, used this wonderful V4 hair prop but in 8 different promo pix not one credit was given to any vendor. To both Vendors, if these were Poser usable I'd get the figures too as I like all races and ages populating my projects.
