Jilly, if the model is already textured by whatever program its originated from, what you can do is pose it in Poser (if you have of course) and export as a bmp. In a Paint program, you can add or just leave the tree with a black background. In Vue, you can use this bmp file (jpeg, tiff etc...) on a plane. Not sure about Vue 2 but if its has a filter for alpha mask, you should do okay.

Guitta the exact address is 3dCafe.com on the plants & trees page in the free stuff section. Don't know if the attatched address will work, never posted one before. Thank you in advance. Tesign.... the model came as a default texture unfortunatly, nothing I do seems to make it look like a willow tree, just bark or foliage, or half and half, not the right halves either :-). Still trying thoughAttached Link: http://www.xfrog.com/greenWeb2/Templates/download-xfrog3.html
Jilly, I remember Xfrog has a a willow tree. You may want to download the free full demo and see if it comes with it. Otherwise, there are some other very nice freebie of trees that you may like. Xfrog can export the model to obj format. But since you use Vue 2, may be the couple of trees there in Vue format may be to your liking. This site uses cookies to deliver the best experience. I have just downloaded a lovely willow tree, but it's come in one "block", if I add a bark texture the leaves also take that texture, is there a way round this, or will I have to take it into a paint programme? Jilly
