Subject: Fixing .obj error?

The necklace from Rhiannon's Tanya set has suddenly lost its link to its .obj. I load it into a scene and, while it is listed in the pulldown menu, it doesn't show in the window. I looked at the Geometries file and that was only called "necklace.obj" and I suspect Poser has somehow confused itself and is grabbing another necklace object. How do I "rewire" this .cr2 to reconnect it to the proper .obj? Simple sentences please. I'm old and a former blond and about as technically savvy as your average gerbil . Thanks!

Moving this to the Poser forum so your question might be better answered. :)

Check your body scales in the parameters menu first. Sometimes these get shrunk to 0%.

If not, then you have to edit the cr2 to reference the correct obj file. If you don't already have it, get notepad++ (it's free).

There are two lines in the cr2 that need to be edited. They both start with 'figureResFile' You'll see the first one as soon as you open the cr2. Change the rest of that line to whatever the correct path to the obj is. So, for example, 'figureResFile :Runtime:Geometries:necklace.obj'

Then scroll down until you find the 2nd 'figureResFile' line and change it there too. Then save the cr2. Make sure you save under a different name so that you don't lose your original file.

If that is the problem then the necklace should load correctly.

Thank you! I went into the CR2 file and added a "T" in front of the .obj name in those two lines to make it unique and did the same in the Geometries folder and voila! It Works! I learned a new trick today. Thank you again.
