So, I guess this might have been asked before. And I'm pretty sure I already know the answer, but it makes me CRINGE. Here I hope for a miracle answer...

My netbook has been out of commission for over a year. Right, folks, an atrocious year without 3d, stuck on a bloody tablet :/ Now finally, got a new old laptop as a prezzie... YAY! But I have to reinstall everything, worse, download it, because files on netbook not accessible, and save files on extHD not at my place. Also, my connection is slow, it's mobile and I live in the outskirts.

With DAZ's download manager it was already PITA to sort out/download 1000+ files, I needed hrs, finished at like 4:30am... but at least it was all neatly arranged in the manager. Now, here I have like 320 files from huge to tiny to download... and reinstall, leaving templates etc out of my program, just on the HD. PLEASE DON'T TELL ME THAT I WILL NEED TO DOWNLOAD THEM ALL MANUALLY, WAITING INBETWEEN TO NOT CLOG EVERYTHING, AND TO REINSTALL EVERY SINGLE FILE MANUALLY TOO, AFTER I PUT THE TEMPLATES SOMEWHERE ELSE... TT''

Now for the not so good news...yes, you will have to download your items again to install them onto your new computer

well... I didn't really believe there was an escape from THAT.. but as long as there's hope, right... cries bitterly speaking about miracles, getting this machine already was one - guess I can't ask for more ;)

you know what? i swore like a fishmonger when I had to type everything on a bloody tablet touchscreen with stuff totally somewhere else... now I realize I have to search for the keys on a normal keyboard (not an office job any more hence no pc at work)

LOL...yes, it is a bit different as I have a hard time even going back and forth from my Laptop, Desktop, and Chromebook because the keyboards are all so different in feel.
