Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Dec 23 8:11 am)
First try saving to a different folder, it may be something to do with the folder security. Try saving to a usb to see what happens. Also try saving as a different file type. I don't have 11, I have p10 but I would have thought it would be the same. As a work around you could type the name in the first time and copy that then paste it in for the next image and change the last digit. Ill try saving as a tif next time I'm on my Mac an see what happens.

I use Poser to create series of images for comics and like to name them sequentially. I had no prblem doing this when I had a PC, but suddenly, now that have a Mac, I'm having to work a little harder to do so. When saving a rendered image, I used to be able to click on an existing image and the name of that image would appear as the name of the image I'm saving. Then I could just change the last digit to make a new image or just save over the existing image if needed. But now, the existing images are greyed out, and when I click on them, nothing happens. I then have to type in the entire new name of the image. It's not a huge problem, but it is a little time consuming.
You can see what I'm talking about in the attached image. This hasn't happened (yet) in any other applications, so I'm wondering if its a Mac thing, a Poser thing, or what. I have Poser Pro 11. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Fo example, in the above image, after clicking on the existing image, the "save as..." field would hopefully read "Scene57-00", but it doesn't change.
