hi all

i am new to poser, so here is my question: when a figure stands right in front of me, all straight, can i somehow scroll the figure up and down. from toe to head. whenever i try, it tilts the figure or a part of it to a side over.

thanks for your time, and cheers, robozo

If you mean move the figure up or down you need to make sure the body is selected. At the top left of the pose window you should see the name of the figure (eg Andy) followed by the body part selected. Click on the body part of this and from the list choose body. Now you can either move the body by turning the y translate dial in the parameters window to the left of the pose window, or if you want to move it with your mouse hold down the shift key (this is for windows, I'm not sure about on a mac) the click and drag with your mouse (holding the shift key makes sure you don't accidently click on a different body part.

However if you just want to look at different parts of the body you use the camera controls which are to the left of the pose window. You should see and icon like a flat hand facing you. Click on this and you can move the camera up and down and side to side. You can use other camera controls to move in or out. Have fun playing with the controls and you will soon get the hang!
