Anyone who played in Blender knows what this is. Emission a NOD that can be used as lighting instead of using lights. In Poser (11) I found this surprise. I tried it, and unable to get it to function. I get poser crashes, and/or doesn't do the job (lighting). Anyone ever tried Emission in Poser?

Ok. That is wow!!. Not seeing the emission nod (being used). Have trouble seeing material settings. Unable to enlarge.

In image shows that using a flat plane for lighting. Will delete lights when all ready to render. But need to make it an "Emission" for lighting. So going into material room, I see "Emission" node. When connected, it goes black. Unable to light up, or set material properly. Do not know what I am doing wrong.

If your familiar with Blenders node tree setup then you can do the same thing in Poser 11, literally re-creating it node for node. If you go to the material room and select the Advanced tab, right click then select: New node>Root>CyclesSurface This creates a node called CyclesSurface which is the Poser equivalent of the Material Output in Blender. Click the Superfly check box and then start adding nodes from the Cycles collection just as you would in Blender. Emission.png
